Awareness Program - Prevention of Malaria and Dengue
The
students of III BSc Nursing along with faculty of Child Health Nursing
department of Father Muller College of Nursing organized an
awareness program on 17thSeptember, 2024 at St Sebastian's English
Medium High School, Permannur on the topic, "Prevention of Malaria and Dengue". The program included a
talk, roleplay, games and activity involving the students of the school. The
key highlights of the talk included description related to malaria and dengue
spread, signs and symptoms and its prevention and management. The execution of
the program was guided by Dr Josmitha Dsouza and Mrs Sandra Saldanha. Prof
Wilma Noronha, HOD of the department also accompanied for the program. A total
of 106 students from Class 9 attended the program. The Principal of the school
and the student representatives gave good oral feedback about the conduct of
the program.
